Guo Ping said that in the past year, when a large number of technologies are not available, Huawei has complied with laws and regulations, fulfilled the obligations of customers and suppliers, survived difficultly and strived to move forward.

"It has been a year since Huawei entered the US entity list on May 16 last year. At the beginning, we were in a rush to communicate with customers and get most of the understanding. This situation is still in progress. " Guo Ping said.

"In response to the impact of the physical inventory, our R & D investment has increased substantially, and our inventory has also increased substantially," it said. We are under great pressure to operate. The good news is that we survived. "

Guo Ping said that "mending holes" is the theme of Huawei in 2019. Last year, Huawei has more than 15000 people in ICT, redeveloped 60 million lines of code, redesigned more than 1800 boards, checked more than 16000 codes and so on. All these investments have enabled Huawei to survive under the entity list and ensure business continuity.

But this year America changed its rules. "This year's trials have made us rough and fleshy, and we are confident that we can find a solution as soon as possible." "We have never understood what the U.S. government can bring to the world if it continues to crack down on Huawei," Guo said

According to public information, on the evening of May 15, Beijing time, the US Department of Commerce announced that it would extend Huawei's temporary license for another 90 days, until August 13, 2020. But it also announced that foreign companies using U.S. chip manufacturing equipment would be required to obtain a U.S. license before supplying certain chips to affiliates such as China or Hisilicon.

The rule will allow chips already in production to be shipped to Huawei, as long as the shipment is completed within 120 days from Friday. The chipsets need to be in production by Friday or they will be banned from export under the latest rules.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce told the us that China has taken note of the new export control regulations issued by the US against Huawei. China firmly opposes this.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, the US side's use of national power, under the pretext of so-called national security, and abuse of export control and other measures to continuously suppress and contain specific enterprises of other countries is a violation of market principles and fair competition, a disregard for the basic rules of international trade and economic cooperation, and a serious threat to the security of the global industrial chain supply chain. China will take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.

Huawei wrote in its voice community, "no scars, no rough skin, no thick flesh, heroes have suffered a lot since ancient times". The article only has two sentences: "looking back, bumpy", "looking forward, never give up". The picture is "an IL2 attack aircraft, hit like a sieve and riddled with bullet holes in World War II, still insists on flying and finally returns safely". (quiet)
