Robin Li said that we all pay more attention to the driverless vehicle. In fact, before the popularity of unmanned traffic, many traffic efficiency can be promoted by artificial intelligence. We have made a calculation, and the practice in nearly 20 cities has proved that artificial intelligence technology can improve our current traffic efficiency by 15% to 30%, and bring an absolute contribution of 2.4-3.8% to GDP. Therefore, we believe that with the continuous improvement of its construction, the city will no longer need to impose restrictions on traffic and purchase in five years, and congestion can be basically eliminated in 10 years.

In addition, he pointed out that intelligent transportation is one of the benchmark industries of industrial intelligence, and the intelligent upgrading in medical treatment, industrial production and other fields has also been greatly accelerated. Take medicine as an example. Due to the enabling of intelligent technology and the digitization of a large amount of life information, the speed of new drug research and development will be greatly accelerated. In the past 10 or 15 years, a new drug R & D cycle will probably be completed in two or three years. The new diagnostic method will find all kinds of cancer four years earlier than the existing methods, thus greatly improving the cure rate.

Robin Li said that the intellectualization of industries has many opportunities in all fields. In the past, low labor cost was an advantage of China's manufacturing industry. Now many people worry that the manufacturing industry will be transferred to Southeast Asian countries with lower labor costs. But if we use intelligent technology to improve productivity, we can still maintain this advantage. Therefore, many of the problems we encounter in production can be solved in the code.
