On Monday, January 5, local time, Google and some employees of its parent company, alphabet, announced the establishment of the alphabet workers union, which intensified the confrontation between employees and Google for many years.

It is reported that the alphabet workers union will collect dues, organize staff activities and have an elected Committee. The Union will be open to all employees and contractors of Google and alphabet in North America, and plans to deal with ethical issues including compensation and Google work. So far, more than 200 workers have signed the accession agreement, the trade union said.

"Many of our employees feel disenfranchised, as if we no longer have any say in the direction of the company," said Kimberly Wilber, a union activist and Google software engineer "Unionizing is a way for us to strengthen so that executives don't ignore us."
