Tesla's Shanghai Super Charging Pile Factory was put into operation, with an annual output of 10,000 V3 charging piles

On February 3, Tesla's Shanghai Super Charging Pile Factory was officially completed and put into production, and the third-generation Super Charging Pile (V3) was officially launched. It is reported that Tesla’s Shanghai Super Charging Pile Factory has invested about 42 million yuan, covering an area of nearly 5,000 square meters, integrating R&D and production. The initial planned annual production capacity of 10,000 super charging piles is mainly V3 products. The product can charge up to 250 kilometers of battery life after 15 minutes of charging.


In the whole year of 2020, Tesla has built more than 410 Tesla super charging stations in mainland China, including more than 180 Tesla V3 super charging stations.
