MediaTek partners with Intel to launch 5G modems for personal computers

Netease Intelligence News on November 26. On November 25, MediaTek announced that it and Intel will introduce its latest 5G modem into the personal computer market.


It is understood that based on the cooperation between the two parties, MediaTek and Intel will deploy 5G solutions in key consumer and commercial notebook computer markets. Dell and Hewlett-Packard are expected to be the first wave of OEMs to adopt this 5G solution, and the first batch of terminal products is expected to be launched in early 2021.


In addition, according to reports, MediaTek's new 5G personal computer modem is based on the previously released 5G modem Helio M70, which is a key part of MediaTek's first 5G flagship smartphone system single chip. (Dingxi)
